Ninjutsu optimises the concept of self protection through martial training, and the ninja arts deal with not only the protection of the physical body, but of the mind and spirit as well. It does not rely on speed, power, strength or techniques, but develops a way of moving that allows the practitioner to prevail. It is therefore highly effective for women and people of all ages and abilities.

The Bujinkan Ninjutsu Melbourne Dojos is officially affiliated with Soke Masaaki Hatsumi Sensei and the Japan Hombu Dojo. All of our members are registered with the Bujinkan Head Office in Japan and are given official membership cards that connect you to every Bujinkan Dojo around the world.

If you are looking for a Martial Art in Melbourne look not further. This is a "complete" Martial Art based around natural movement and flow. As you go through the curriculum at BNMD you will become more "aware of yourself" so you can see where your own condition responses are getting in the way of you achieving what you really want in life. While you will learn all the things you would expect from a normal Self Defense school you will also come to realise that real defense you need to learn if from yourself.

"A real Ninja is someone who is in control of their Body, Mind and Perception of Right and Wrong."
